Lydia Laia Gentile

Lydia Laia Gentile 93, died Friday, June 1, 2018 at her home.  Mrs. Gentile was born in Waterbury Ct, lived in Bayonne, North Plainfield, and Cape Coral Fl. before moving to Massachusetts in 2015.  She was a member of St. Andrews R.C. Church, Catholic War Veterans Assumption Mem. Post 1612 Ladies Aux, Moose Club, Italian-American Club and Saints & Sinners Club all in Cape Coral, Fl.  Lydia was predeceased by her husband Alexander S. Gentile, surviving are a brother Joseph Laia and two sisters, Elena Biondi and Norma Mazzucco, several nieces and nephews.  A graveside service will be Thursday June 7 at 10:00 am at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway, NJ.  There will be no calling hours at the Funeral Home.  Arrangements entrusted to Scarpa-Las Rosas FH in North Plainfield.
