Luz S Franco

Luz S. Franco, 56, of Basking Ridge, NJ, passed away on January 31, 2025.

Luz was the devoted wife of Arkimedes Villacis Paredes and the loving mother of Arkin Bryan, Aldin Brandon, and Ashlin Brailyn. She was the heart of her family, a guiding light whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met.

A woman of deep passion and quiet strength, Luz found joy in the simple beauties of life. She loved tending to her garden, nurturing each plant with care, especially her beloved cacti. She found peace in walking along the shore, listening to the waves, and exploring new sights, always eager to embrace the wonders of the world around her.

As the matriarch of her family, Luz was the foundation of love and support, always putting others before herself. Her presence was a source of comfort, her laughter a melody that will be deeply missed but forever cherished.

Luz leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and cherished memories. Though she is no longer physically with us, her spirit will continue to bloom like the plants she so lovingly cared for, reminding us of her strength and unwavering love.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Saturday, February 15th from 9-10:15am in Scarpa Las Rosas Funeral Home, 22 Craig Place, North Plainfield.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11am in St. Bernard's RCC, Plainfield.

Cremation will follow in Rosehill Crematory, Linden.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those who wish to honor her memory consider planting something in her name, as she found so much joy in watching life grow.
