Lois Sylvester

Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Lois Sylvester, 94, of Warren, NJ., passed away on December 12, 2023. She was born on March 15, 1929 and raised in Elizabeth, NJ. Lois married the love of her life, Raymond Sylvester in March of 1947 and were married for 63 years.

Lois had 2 children, 5 grandchilddren and 3 great-grandchildren. Lois and Ray built a beautiful brick house in 1959 in Warren. She opened a record store in Bardy Farm in Warren from 1965-1970 called Ray's Records.

Lois' love of music included everything from Big Band thru the 60's and 70's. The Beatles were her favorite group and she even got tickets to see them with the whole family in August of 1964. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Lois is predeceased by her husband Raymond (2010), her son-in-law John W. Geis Sr. (1990),  and Grandson James M. Geis (2019). Lois was survived by her children; Raymond C. Sylvester and Kathleen M. Geis; Grandchildren John W. Geis Jr., Carl, Adam, and Raymond J. Sylvester; Great-grandchildren Mia, Micah, and Riley Sylvester.
