Katherine A. Marino

Katherine A. Marino 96, died Wednesday February 17, 2021.  Katherine was born in Brooklyn, NY, lived in Plainfield before moving to North Plainfield in 1960.  She was a former member of the St. Anthony Society of Plainfield Area, the Altar Rosary Society of St. Joseph Church and a member of the Tri County Senior Citizens.  Her husband Sam Marino died in 1997.  Surviving is a son Louis A. Marino of North Plainfield and a daughter Joanne Proietto of Chatham.  Also surviving are three grandchildren, Anthony, Joseph and Marisa and three great grandchildren, Landon, Oliver and Rowan.

Services will be private followed by a burial at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The American Cancer Society, 986 South Springfield Avenue, Springfield NJ 07081.  Arrangements entrusted to Scarpa-Las Rosas Funeral Home of North Plainfield.
