Karen L. Stites

Karen Metner Stites, 59, longtime resident of North Plainfield died March 15, 2018 at home from a battle with cancer. Karen was a graduate of North Plainfield H.S. She worked for several years at ACME in North Plainfield and also Shoprite in Bernardsville. Karen was also a member of the Watchung Elks 2252. Karen is survived by her husband Richard Stites, her two sons Keith and Andy of N. Plainfield, and grandson Zane. Parents Anthony and Elizabeth Metner of N. Plainfield, sisters Theresa Ceppa Kusmick and her husband Glenn of PA, Darlene Rymer and Lisa Wallace of N. Plainfield, brothers James of Boundbrook, Mickey and his wife Debbie of N. Plainfield, Danny and his wife Janet of Fl. Karen is predeceased by her brother Anthony Metner in 2005. Graveside services will be held on Monday March 26, 2018 at 1:30 in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield.
