John J. Lozinski

North Plainfield – John J. Lozinski, 92, died Sunday March 27, 2016 at his son Michael’s home in Stockton NJ.  Mr. Lozinski was born and raised in Matawan before moving to North Plainfield in 1947.  He was a retired Lineman with PSE&G of Elizabeth.  John was a United States Navy Veteran of WWII.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree. He was predeceased by his wife Evelyn Lozinski in 2005 and a son Dr. Thomas Lozinski March 9, 2016.  Surviving are two sons, John C. Lozinski of Bloomsbury NJ, Michael and his wife Lori Lozinski of Stockton, NJ and his daughter-in-law Roseann Lozinski of Manasquan NJ.  Also surviving is a sister Helen Strickowski of NJ and five grandchildren, Thomas C., Allegra, Michael C., Ian and Lucie Lozinski, four great grandchildren, Evy, Sebastian, Oliver and Kayla.  Services will start 9:00 am Friday from Scarpa-Las Rosas FH, 22 Craig Place, North Plainfield, NJ followed by a 10:00 am mass at St. Joseph’s RC Church, Jackson Avenue, North Plainfield.  Burial will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Keyport NJ.  Visitation is Thursday March 31st  from 6-9 pm.
