Florence Lombardi
February 14, 1930 — August 1, 2016
Florence Lombardi, 86 passed away Monday August 1, 2016 at Manor Oaks Nursing Home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Florence was born and raised in Plainfield then resided in Jersey City for 25 years before moving to Pompano Beach Florida in 1980. Florence was retired from the Padco Manufacturing Co. of Middlesex, NJ where she worked as a Quality Control Specialist. She loved ballroom dancing with her late husband Al and was an excellent cook and baker.
Florence was predeceased by her son John Toth in 1995, her husband Al Lombardi in 2008, and her sister Josephine Occhiato in 2013. Florence is survived by her daughter Nancy Toth of North Plainfield and her sister Angelina Esolda of Toms River.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday August 5, 9:00 am at Scarpa-Las Rosas Funeral Home, 22 Craig Place, North Plainfield, followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Bernard of Clairvaux and St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church in Plainfield.
Entombment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery South Plainfield. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6pm – 9pm in the funeral home. www.scarpalasrosasfh.com
