Eva E. Enriquez Reyes

Evangelina “Eva” Enríquez Reyes, loving mother, grandmother, sister, wife, aunt, cousin, and friend, departed into eternal heaven on July11, 2022, with her daughters , son and family by her bedside. Eva was born in her beloved Las Salinas, Guatemala and came to the U.S. as a young woman. She lived most of her adult life in North Plainfield, NJ.

Eva showed her love towards her family and friends by cooking, endless caring, and everlasting good humor. She was the glue that brought and held her family together. Eva loved her “cafecito”, but she made sure to ask you if it was a FRESH brew. She did everything with passion and honesty. Eva, fondly known as "Evita", is now in her perfect peaceful resting place.

Evita is survived by her siblings: Aura, Veronica, Cristina, Dora Maria, Pedro, and Rolando; children: Madelyn, Marvin and Stephanie, and her adored grandchildren Myah, Mason, Davian, as well as her ex-husband Luis.

In lieu of flowers the family will have a donation box to accept donations to complete Eva’s wish to be laid to rest in Guatemala.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Scarpa- Las Rosas Funeral Home, 22 Craig Place, North Plainfield, NJ 07060 on Saturday July 16th, 2022 from 10:30am- 2:30pm.
