Ernestine I. Petritsch, 90, of Plainfield, passed away on May 11, 2018 in Edison.
Ernestine was born January 12, 1928 to John and Mary (Dzujko) Petritsch. She was honored to serve as a cook for priests at various locations in NJ and PA.
Ernestine is preceded in death by her 5 brothers. She is survived by her son Mark and spouse Marianne of S. Plainfield, 2 sisters, Henrietta and Valeria of Pennslvania; 4 grandchildren; Abigail, Anna, Mark Jr., and Michael; and many nieces and nephews. Her joy and laughter were contagious and she will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be 5-9 pm on Tuesday May 15 at Scarpa-Las Rosas F.H., 22 Craig Place, N. Plainfield. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 am on Wednesday May 16 followed by an 11:00 am Mass at St. Joseph’s, N. Plainfield. A private cremation will follow.
