Erick Orlando Castillo, 52, of Somerset, passed away on March 21, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. He was the devoted husband of Ericka Marroquin Saravia De Castillo, with whom he shared a deep and enduring bond. Born in Guatemala, Erick carried his heritage with pride, always embracing the music and culture of his homeland. A passionate admirer of fellow Guatemalan Ricardo Arjona, Erick found solace and inspiration in his lyrics, often sharing the melodies that resonated with his heart. Those who knew Erick will remember his warmth, his unwavering love for his family, and his ability to brighten any room with his presence. His kindness, laughter, and devotion will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A service to celebrate Erick’s life will be held at a later date. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his loved ones.

Family and Friends are welcomed to visit on Sunday March 30th, from 7 to 10 pm in Scarpa Las-Rosas Funeral home. 22 Craig Place, North Plainfield, NJ. 

Cremation will be held privately.
