Emily H. Wieder

Emily H. Wieder died June 29, 2017 at her home in North Plainfield surrounded by her family. Emily was born in the Bronx, NY in 1926 and she lived in Hillside and Leonia before settling in North Plainfield for the last 35 years. Mrs. Wieder was married in 1948 to her late husband of 52 years Aaron Wieder who passed away in 2000. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church of N. Plainfield. Emily worked as an Accountant for 25 years for Airco Co., of NY and NJ. Emily was a avid reader and enjoyed dancing, but most important to her was home where she enjoyed cooking, being with her family and beloved pets. Emily is predeceased by her brother Norman Berger and sister Ann Michaels. Surviving are son Richard Wieder and daughter-in-law Rassel of Henderson, Nevada and daughter Louise Braca and son-in-law Edward Braca of NYC, grandchildren Leah, Ricky, Sarah-Marie, Matthew and Vincent, great grandchildren Frances and Alyssa. Memorial services will take place on Saturday July 8 from 12:00pm-2:00pm at Scarpa-Las Rosas FH, 22 Craig Place, North Plainfield. www.scarpalasrosasfh.com
