Elizabeth Pear

Elizabeth (Betty) F. Pear, 87, died Saturday, January 30, 2021, at Chandler Regional Medical Center in Chandler, Arizona. She was the loving wife of George W. Pear for 55 years, until his death in 2010. Betty was born on July 16, 1933 in Scotch Plains, New Jersey and lived most of her life in North Plainfield, New Jersey. She was an employee of K-Mart in North Plainfield, New Jersey for many years until her retirement. Betty loved going to bingo and working on various craft projects.

Betty is survived by her two daughters, Linda and her husband Dennis Pleasant of Chandler, Arizona, and Carol and her husband Jim Cason, of East Stroudsburg, PA.  Also surviving are nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the Scarpa-La Rosas Funeral Home located at 22 Craig Place, North Plainfield, New Jersey. Burial will take place immediately after at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains, New Jersey.  You may light a candle in honor of the life of Elizabeth Pear.
