Elena Biondi

Elena Biondi, 101, formerly of North Plainfield and Cape Coral, FL passed away peacefully Thursday February 9th, 2023 at NJ Eastern Star Home in Bridgewater Township. Elena was born in Waterbury, CT and raised in Bayonne.

Some of Elena’s memberships included: North Plainfield Italian-American Social Club, Alliance of Italian-Americans of NJ, recording secretary, Catholic Daughters of North Plainfield Miller Court, North Plainfield Rosary Society, Charter Member of the United Former Officers of the New Residence Club, Recording Secretary for Council of Catholic Women of St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church of Cape Coral and volunteer work at Cape Coral Hospital.

Elena was pre-deceased by her husband, the late Anthony J. Biondi in 2013. Surviving are a son Robert A and wife Linda Biondi of Cape Coral, FL, two daughters June Ann and husband John Richardson of Somerset, and Joyce and her late husband Tom Bayuk of Cape Cod, MA. Also surviving are one brother Joseph Laia of Fort Myers, FL, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Services and Burial will be private. Arrangements entrusted to the Scarpa-Las Rosas Funeral Home in North Plainfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
