Diane M. Demartino

Diane M. DeMartino 65, died Monday, January 8, 2018 at her home in Piscataway.  Diane was born October 2, 1952 in Plainfield, NJ, daughter of Raymond and Claire DeMartino.  She lived in North Plainfield from 1963 – 1980 before settling in Piscataway.  Ms. DeMartino was a graduate of St. Mary’s Grammar School in Plainfield in 1966 and North Plainfield H.S. in 1970, continuing her education at Raritan Valley Community College earning her degree in Nursing.  Diane was a licensed LPN and RN and was also a claims and processing manager for several area health insurance companies.  Most recently Anthem Amerigroup before retiring in October, 2017.  Diane was an avid doll collector and enjoyed lunch and dinner with family and friends.  She was predeceased by her parents Raymond DeMartino in 1981 and her mother Claire DeMartino (Andrews) in 2013 and brother Raymond “Buster” DeMartino in 1970.  Diane is survived by her brother James E. DeMartino and his wife Cathy of Mt. Bethel, PA, nephew James R. DeMartino of Seattle, WA and niece Dana N. DeMartino of Montpelier, VT.  Visiting hours are Sunday, January 14 from 3pm to 7pm and Monday, January 15 from 9am to 10am at Scarpa-Las Rosas Funeral Home, 22 Craig Place, North Plainfield.  Burial will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield
