David Michael Szaro

David Szaro passed away on September 16, 2020. He was born in Plainfield, NJ and raised in Piscataway. He enjoyed diving and playing baseball in high school. After being married, he then resided in North Plainfield with his wife and three children, where he established a career as a union carpenter with Local 455. He enjoyed the outdoors, antique cars, music, taking adventures on snow mobiles and ATVs, and collecting Elvis Presley memorabilia. He proudly supported his children, being very involved in Boy Scout and Girl Scout outings, attending sporting events, cooking family meals especially during the holidays, and hosting many memorable Halloween parties, always having the best costume. His free spirit, spontaneous and fun nature, and loving presence will be missed. David is survived by his father Ed Szaro and mother Barbara Roberts, his ex-wife Lisa Szaro, his children, son Travis Szaro, daughter Jacalyn Szaro and wife Heather, and daughter Julia Szaro, and also his siblings Doug Szaro and wife Teresa, and Debra Szaro, in addition to many family members in New Jersey, Florida and Connecticut. Services will be held on Wednesday, September 23 from 4PM-8PM and Thursday, September 24 from 10AM-11AM at Scarpa-Las Rosas Funeral Home 22 Craig Place, North Plainfield NJ, 07060.
