Carolina Mazzetta

Carolina Mazzetta, 92, formerly of North Plainfield and Toms River died Sunday August 1, 2021 at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Pa. Born and raised in Caserta, Italy, Carolina came to the United States in 1947, settling in Plainfield. She worked as an assembly worker for GlasFax Company in Stirling and also at the Villa Maria Nursing Home in North Plainfield.

She was a member of the North Plainfield Seniors. She was predeceased by her husband Gelardo, J. Mazzetta in 1983 and two sons, Anthony in 2012 and Michael in 2014. Surviving are two sons, Edward and wife Liza Mazzetta of Palmyra, Pa and Gerald and wife Kay Mazzetta of Easton Pa. and a daughter-in-law Terry Mazzetta of Toms River. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be Thursday at 12:30 pm at Scarpa-Las Rosas Funeral Home, 22 Craig Place, North Plainfield. Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains, NJ. Visiting hours are Wednesday 2-6 pm.
