Aniello Infante

Aniello Infante, 80, of South Plainfield, died Sunday August 28th, 2022. He was born and raised in Risigliano, Italy before coming to the United States at age 17 in 1960.

Aniello was a tailor and owner of Somerset Tailor Shop in North Plainfield.

He was a very religious person and attended mass every week at Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield.

Aniello also was a member of the South Plainfield Seniors.

Aniello enjoyed gardening, traveling, cooking, dancing and liked watching Italian soccer, but most of all spending time with his family.

Surviving is his daughter – Maria Infante Asselta and her husband William of Dunellen, two sons, Peter Infante of St. Cloud, FL, and Luigi and wife Dawn Infante of Whitehouse Station. Also surviving are two grandchildren Ava and Nicholas and Aniello’s partner Louise Dicellis.

A funeral mass will be held Friday September 9th 10:00 am at Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield. Burial will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains. Visitation will be Thursday Sept 8th, 4-8 pm at the Scarpa-Las Rosas Funeral Home – 22 Craig Place, North Plainfield.
