Alessandra Mellozzi

North Plainfield – Alessandra “Sessanta” Mellozzi, died Monday, June 12, 2017, at RWJ of Somerset in Somerville, New Jersey. Alessandra was born in Lenola, Italy, and lived in North Plainfield since 1957. After working as a Table Worker for Thermionics Company, in North Plainfield, for thirty years, she retired. Surviving is a son, Angelo Mellozzi of North Plainfield; two daughters, Emelia Kubala of Branchburg, and Josephine Mellozzi-Kocian of Dallas Texas. Also, surviving are two grandchildren, Dr. Stephanie Kubala of Washington, D.C., and Kristy Kubala of Branchburg.  Visiting hours are Sunday, June 18, 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Scarpa-Las Rosas Funeral Home, located at 22 Craig Place, North Plainfield, New Jersey. Services on Monday, June 19, will start at 9:00 AM at Scarpa-Las Rosas Funeral Home. It will be followed by a 10:00 AM mass at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in North Plainfield. Burial will be at St. Mary’s-Stony Hill Cemetery in Watchung.
